Brilliant Read for Shiva Devotees!!!! 6 November, 2013 On
7 Secrets of Shiva by Devdutt Patnaik was an engrossing read. Filled with various symbolism related to Lord Shiv, this book was riveting! For those who are familiar with the legend, lore and stories of Lord Shiva, reading this book will be extremely enriching as all aspects regarding this remarkable God are explained in detail - Shiva as an immaculate dancer, benevolent protector, Goddess Parvathi’s consort and beloved father. To readers who are not so familiar, the book may be a bit daunting as there is a lot of information. But just as we all keep discovering God in various instances, we can keep going back to this book over and over again. And I too look forward to re-reading it.
