A perfect documentary in the name of Movie
16 May, 2013
Genre: Drama, History
For: People in search of history (mostly Alexander’s era)
Brief: Alexander (the mighty emperor) and his life story. It starts with Alexander’s teenage time and his quarrel with father, and has a drastic end with Alexander’s sudden death. His Egyptian mother is the one who taught him, how to rule; whereas his Father (though had a lot of quarrel with him) who didn’t liked Alexander’s mother and was regarded as a drunk King taught him, the ethics of building an empire and retain yourself as a King.
Comment (in short): Boring. In fact, people who are so in awe of Alexander might also hate his reign after watching the movie. The acting of the Alexander character is gruesome and cowardice, whereas, history books and mythical tales says, just the opposite. The whole movie along with the characters seems to have a little bit less life into it. In short, the movie seems to be made either in hurry or producer cut short the budget. In either way, as a movie, and from a movie Buffs’ point of view: IT SUCKS (big time)!!
