Erwin O.Kreyszig(1922-2008) was an applied mathematician as well as a professor at Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada. An innovator in the field of applied maths, he is also know as a distinguished author , and his book Advanced Engineering Mathematics has been the foremost text for electrical , mechanical , chemical and civil engineering undergraduate students.
