  1.  Intriguing international story 7 May, 2013 On
The Afghan is certainly not in the same league as Frederick Forsyth's older books, but it provides an excellent thrilling story about international terrorism and its organization. This book is full of true historical and geographical references which make it interesting to read. As with any other Forsyth's book The Afghan is hard to put down, the pages turn themselves but the twists are not as unexpected as in his other books. Forsyth's language and chosen style of narrative is as good as ever but as said previously, it does not match the level of the earlier published books.
