Albie Duff is thirteen years old, and lives with his Dad and new Step-Mum
in Canary Wharf – the financial heartland of London; a paradoxical mix
of steel towers, with the old East-end dockland slums lapping at the
edges.

Albie and his friends: Ciara and Joe, use the derelict houses as their
play ground, and as they one day explore a boarded-up house in Sutton Place,
they burst through the attic door and together fall through space and
time.

At the same the moment in the year 2126, a corrupt Business mogul –
Jonus Woods – steals a Travel Pod from the Government laboratories, to
travel back to Victorian London to change events, and ultimately his
destiny.

Albie and his friends arrive in the London of 1888 – the same year
as Woods. In their efforts to return home, they become entangled in the
events of the time, played out on streets prowled by Jack the Ripper and
manipulated by Woods.

Timelines entwine, as they are helped at a distance by the Secret Police
of the 22nd Century, to fight criminals and Secret Cults from both
centuries.

Albie must also cope with the realisation that he was responsible for
dragging his friends through time, and tries to control this unwelcomed
skill to help his friends and ultimately defeat Woods.
