Raje Bauji is a simple man who is in his late fifties and lives with his extended family in a cluttered hovel like house in Old Delhi's Fatehpuri region. His daughter Rita is in a suspected relation with a notorious guy in the neighborhood. Raje learns about the relationship. Along with her uncles, he decides to detain her and confront the boy for such a deed. Meanwhile a dramatic incident changes Raje's overview of life. He chooses to only believe what he sees. The twisted fable has an underlying thought of epistemology. Rajat Kapoor is always famous for his simple authentic style of narration. His contemporary art flicks are always quirky with an inward meaning about the choices we make in life. Ankhon Dekhi is Rajat kapoor's 5th feature film which won various awards including - Filmfare Award for Best Film(Critics), Best Actor (Critics) and Best Story 2014 (Critics).
