Product is lovable but features aren't

I have been using the Apple iPod Shuffle 2GB for the past 10 months and over the course of time, I have both loved and hated the device simultaneously. If I talk about the quality, I simply love it, but when it comes to features and ease of use, I loathe it.
Talking of quality, the iPod Shuffle is a brilliant device. Nice and compact, with a brushed metallic body, nice large buttons - everything about the hardware is just perfect for this price. The sound quality is simply brilliant as well. The great and loud pair of earphones, although aren't the most durable and strong ones around, provides very good and rather loud sound.
However, there is a plenty of things which anyone would hate. First is the cumbersome syncing process which has to be done only with iTunes and there is nothing called mass storage available for the users. Second, there is no room for expansion and users have to be satisfied with just 2GB of in-built storage, which is a major downside. At least I found it really less when trying to store high quality 320kbps music on the device. Apart from that, the earphones provided with the iPod Shuffle is of poor build quality and wears away after prolonged usage. For this I would suggest users to put a cellotape at the point where the two wires of the earphones meet. Sound tends to leak from the earphones and noise cancellation is poor as well.
Overall, it is a decent product with a classy brand name, meant for posh users with little or no demand for storage space. However, if you can get yourself a better pair of headphones and do not wish to store too many music files on the device, you can definitely go for it, just for the strong quality of the product, the brand name and the perks associated with it as a customer and the great portability. Whatsoever, I personally believe that the iPod Shuffle is not much worth the money as my requirements are much more, although someone can easily differ from me on this one.
