Assassin's Creed: Revelations is a book based on the game of the same name. It has been written by Oliver Bowden and published by Penguin UK. Assassins Creed's fame and recognition were not just achieved on the basis of graphics and gameplay. The story was what appealed to fans of the franchise. The series has a compelling story that is worthy of a film or a play.

It is an epic tale that pits two groups against each other: The Templars, who want to control humanity through an ancient artefact called 'The Apple of Eden' left by an ancient civilization and The Assassins who fight to prevent humanity from being enslaved by the Templars. The two groups have been trying to eliminate each other through centuries. In the previous book, we learned that the protagonist Ezio Auditorre da Firenze was an Italian nobleman's son who discovered that he belonged to the Assassins order. After training under his uncle, Mario, he went on to defeat Rodrigo Borgia a.k.a. Pope Alexander the VI and his family who headed the Templar organization in Italy. In this book, a mature and more experienced Ezio is on his way to find the library of Altair, the legendary assassin and one of the mentors of the group who lived during the Third Crusade. The library is located in Constantinople, and upon arriving, Ezio realizes there is trouble brewing. Prince Ahmet and Prince Selim are fighting to acquire the throne. Ezio realises that the Templars have sided with Prince Ahmet and are stirring trouble behind the scenes. Sensing a conspiracy against Prince Selim, Ezio must rescue the prince and at the same time locate the five keys that will unlock the door to Altair's library. The novel is fast paced and filled with thrilling action sequences. This is one epic adventure you would not want to miss.
