Product Description

Atonement is all about Forgive and Forget veneered with beautiful love, emotions, empathy and sorrow. An emotional romantic movie, splendidly captured the essence with the beautiful script. Atonement is the story of an enduring love. Span across various decades, the movie take us on a life travel of 13 year old girl. A story with roaring love, continued by mild tragedy, and unfortunately sad towards the end with terrible climax, simply a mixture of all emotions. Every single character of this movie, lived as if it were their real life. Splendid performance not to miss!

Set in the period of 1930s, the movie appears as a one of those profound English movies carrying the class and courtship. However, very soon you would know that this is a unique movie. Briony Tallis, 13 years old beautiful girl lived a rich and well-off life with her family. She is a budding writer, who just finished writing her first novel. During a warm day, Briony unexpectedly noticed some unexpected incidents, which made her behave oddly that changed the lives of the many people dramatically for worst.

Cecilia is Briony's elder sister. Briony had secret feelings and a crush for Robbie Turner, the son of her family's housekeeper. One day, Briony saw Robbie and Cecilia making love in a hothouse. Soon, the duo confessed their love for one another. The sexual interaction of her sister with her secret crush followed by expressing the love for each other shocked Briony. Robbie was subsequently accused of a crime, imprisoned for four years. It was Briony who executed an accusation on Robbie as she wanted to interfere in the relationship her sister and he had.

However, she realized her enormous mistake she made and pleaded for forgiveness until her life. The story has many interesting twists and turns, displaying the emotional Briony!

James McAvoy played as Robbie Turner and he admired his character as Robbie and acclaimed as one of the difficult characters to play! Keira Knightley acted as Cecilia Tallis, the elder sister of Tallis. Briony Tallis is played by three actors, at different ages. The 13 year old Briony Tallis is played by Saoirse Ronan. The girl received the best supporting actress Academy Award and nominated for many awards. Briony Tallis at 18 years was played by Romola Garai and she was the perfect fit for the role. The 77 years old Briony was played by Vanessa Redgrave, the ideal role of Briony.

This movie will appear to be a beautiful and true adaption of the book written by Ian McEwan named ATONEMENT, for those who already read it. Watching the flick makes a difference between those who read the novel and those who didn't. The readers of the book would be hugely surprised at the way the film is adapted and the great little touches that the screenplay carries. Those who are fresh watchers of this flick are posed with a question, will you or won't you forgive? Get this movie DVD at at low price.

An amazing story utterly filled with lots of in-depth moments filled with silence, and a lot more surprises beyond your imagination. Don't miss it.

     I love you Keira ;) 15 September, 2013 On
Beautifully shot, fabulously scripted Love Saga that touches your emotional chord. A film about longing, seduction, jealousy and war moves you, though, towards the end it leaves you unsatiated. This film would have fiddled your emotional chords with great impact had those incidents which lead this story to its apt end, wouldn't be so abrupt. This 'rushed into' fails to leave an impression on you.

Hats off to the Cinematographer and Set Designer who have created magic on the screen. Every actor's performance is praiseworthy. Music is the soul of this film.

14 years old Briony witnesses a moment of sexual tension between her older sister, Cecilia and Robbie Turner, a servant's son, a man that Briony has a childish crush on. Robbie returns home and writes a letter to Cecilia that is explicitly erotic. On his way to Tallis Home, Robbie asks Briony to deliver this letter to her elder sister, Cecilia. Briony secretly reads the letter and is disgusted and jealous.

In all, a beautiful film, Watch it!
