  1.  Engrossing Fiction 29 January, 2014 On
The fiction story of The Book Thief by Markus Zusak is about Liesel Meminger during the era 1939 onward in an dummy town of Molching in Germany. Liesel had to encounter two shocks at her age of 9 - one, her brother's death and two, she gets separated from her mother. She then starts living with a couple Hans Hubermann and Rosa Hubermann. She get taunted in school where she joins as at that time she didn't have learnt to read and write.

Overall a serious and engrossing read.
