Overview: The Book of Tomorrow

The Book of Tomorrow by Cecelia Ahern is a novel published in 2009 by Harper Collins. This novel pivots around the life of 16-year old Tamara Goodwin and her magical discoveries about her past life. Tamara was used to a glamorous city life, but had to abandon her life in the city and her gorgeous lifestyle altogether due to the sudden demise of her father after which, she along with her mother, went to her uncle and aunts place.

Tamara is bored and wishes to get back the chance of living her life the way it was before. On one fortunate day, she gets hold of an unusual and enchanting book when a travelling library hits her present dwelling. That book was exceptionally beautiful, it was a leather-bound book with a golden clasp and a padlock and it had an element of mystery in it.

Tamara gets curious and she finds a way of knowing her life better along with a scope to know a great detail information about her family history and background which was earlier unknown to her.

In this novel, a light of affirmation is also portrayed as the girl seems to find a mysterious thing that can change her life, but it remains to be seen whether she really is able to track her troubled life in the right direction or not with the help of this mysterious leather-bound book.

Cecelia Ahern is a famous novelist who has to her credit works like P. S. I Love You, Where Rainbows End and Thanks for the Memories.
