Seller website deducted my credit card amount but the order ID was not generated and seller customer service number is not working and no one answers the call and mails. Pathetic service.

I ordered two books of a total value of Rs.468.00 and rs 50 as delivery charges. Without informing me the sent only one book of Rs. 170 and charged me Rs 50 (!) as delivery charges and after that book was received regretted that the other book is out of stock and sent a mail cancelling the order!! Unreliable seller!

They collected payment for an item listed on their site and later said they didn't have it in stock. They asked for my bank details to send me the refund, which I was reluctant to give. They could have reversed the credit card entry as most sellers do. Anyway, I searched their online catalogue and found another item in the same price range and asked them to send it. Again they said they didn't have that item. Why do they show items on their webpage if they don't have them in the stock?

What do I do in case I receive a defective/damaged / wrong book from Buybooksindia.com ?
We at Buybooksindia.com
always have you in mind, so we strive to make sure that our products reach you in their original condition. Still if an item ordered by you on is delivered to you in a damaged / defective condition or a wrong book is inadvertently delivered to you, please email us at info@buybooksindia.com for a replacement.
We will also have the defective/damaged book picked up from you at no extra cost and send the replacement book. In case you want a refund instead of replacement, we will be happy to do refund after deducting the delivery and pick-up shipping charges and the payment gateway charges.

We will refund to you the entire cost of the returned item, less shipping costs. Please note that we will provide a refund facility only for products bought from our website. Are there any shipping charges?
Yes, We charge Rs. 50 (Within India) for the orders less than Rs. 500.
What is the estimated delivery time?
The delivery time for each book is mentioned against the specific book. Generally, the books are available in 4-7 business days.
Also, we normally ship all books through reputed couriers. For other areas which are not serviced by the courier, the books are sent by Speed Post through the Indian Postal Service which may take additional 5-7 business days depending on the location.
Business days exclude public holidays and Sundays. Also note that this doesn't apply to bulk orders.
