  1.  WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! 24 November, 2015 On
I have watched two movie versions (1971 and 2005) Roald Dahl’s beloved childhood classic, “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”. After actually reading the book, I realize that neither movie captured the absolute sensory delight and wonder that was this book. To quote a sample:
"All the most wonderful smells in the world seemed to be mixed up in the air around them - the smell of roasting coffee and burnt sugar and melting chocolate and mint and violets and crushed hazelnuts and apple blossom and caramel and lemon peel..."
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is certainly a must-read!!!
