Inside the Diary

Gregory Heffley is a teenage boy who does the same mistakes as the kids of his age. But in his case, this leads to series of events that cause him more trouble and sound hilarious to the readers. Diary of a Wimpy Kid 2 revolves around Greg's brother Rodrick, who was barely quoted in the first part. Another year in school, Greg starts writing his journal describing how horrid his summer vacation was. Greg was treated as an outsider as he had the cheese touch. He tries to patch up with everyone and wants to lead a cool life as other kids. But, things never get well for Greg as his brother Rodrick know the two of his dirty secrets. One is about Greg's Dairy and other about the existence of his diary after his death. Rodrick takes advantage of the secrets and treats him like he wants.

The book is filled with fun filled surprises and will never get you bored. You can see that there was no love between the brothers. Greg also explains that how his mom tried to patch these two brothers. With a humorous storyline, the author tries to keep his audience amused and engaged along the frames. The life of an 8th grade kid could never be worse than of Greg's.
