Product Description

Five Go Off to Camp is an adventurous and children's fiction novel. It is the seventh book of the Famous Five series and a sequel to Five to Kirrin Island Again. Written by Enid Blyton and first published in 1948, the story is another adventurous journey by the five, and this time it is in a spook train.

The five; Julian, Anne, Dick, George and her dog Timmy plan to go camping, and sets off to a camping site which is close to the moor. As they arrive, they get to know that the site is close to a farm and decides to visit the farm. Filled with excitement, the five go to the farm and meet a boy named Jock, who lives at the farm with his stepfather and mother. With the help of Jock, the five plan to explore the moor, and find out a secret railway yard and a tunnel that are abandoned. An old watchman called Wooden Leg Slam tells them that a "Spook Train" runs along the track. Now, excited and intrigued, the five and Jock plans to find out more about the "Spook Train". But Mr. Andrews, stepfather of Jock, gets to know about the plan and prevent Jock from meeting the five.

Determined to explore the secret behind the "Spook Train", the boys set out for an adventurous journey leaving the girls behind. George also decides to leave for the exploration with Timmy, and Anne waits for them.
