The God of war collection is highly inspired by the second part of its editions, God of war 2 in which god set an eye upon a mortal warrior, Kratos who was on a classic quest to dethrone the mighty and supreme God. After having sat atop the Olympus throne, he had to defeat the God of wars who was far more cruel and hardnosed than Ares was. Kratos decided to end his anguish and suffering and set upon a journey to unknown extents of Earth to fight and defeat his countless horrors and alter his fate that no god or mortal could have changed.
