The Quant Bible
28 August, 2014
I will be appearing for my CAT exam this November and like all hopeful aspirants, I was doing my research on "must have" books for my preparation. In all lists, I came across this book and so decided to give it a shot.
After using this book for more than a month, I am of the opinion that this book rightly deserves the title of being the best book for quant preparation. I am really pleased with the book structure (the division of chapters into blocks, the Levels of Difficulty and so on), the type of questions that are asked, the solutions provided and the mock exams that are given at the end of the book. In my opinion, if correctly used, the book provides a complete and holistic preparation opportunity.
With all good things, there are a few defects that are a few defects that are usually associated. Same is the case with this book. I found a few very distracting errors in the book, be it printing mistakes ( of which there are quite a few), mistakes in solutions, both of which often confused me a lot when I was solving questions.
If these two things are taken care of, I would gladly give this book a 5 star rating, but until then it deserves only a 4 star from my side. That aside, I really loved this book and would recommend this book to all serious aspirants as this book takes care of Quant preparation really well.
