  3.  Totally disappointed with this book.. 28 April, 2014 On Junglee.com
I am surprised by the positive reviews this book has got!! May be it is just the author's various friends. The story is bore, a total bore.

I finished the book in one sitting. Not because it was captivating. It’s the whole sunk cost mentality – if one has spent half an hour on reading a book, one might as well spend another half an hour and hope that it rises from the depths of mediocrity somewhere down the line. Unfortunately this book just doesn’t. Honestly it isn’t even a mediocre book.

The book is nothing but all imagination .It is full of some childish and immature dialogues of love and love..baby ..shona.. sorry.. etc.

Initially for some it might be interesting but not for too long .I found it extremely nagging and boring .You can actually skip some pages without missing at all.The writer and his girlfriend had nothing to do apart from calling to each other the entire day .

Segal's and Singh's book have the same ending only the circumstances and location was different .But now i understand why Love Story is a classic and this is a rubbish.

The initial pages were OK but it became a pain when he met the girl till the time she had the terrible accident. a headache for those who are used to reading good book.

the end was like a Bollywood movie. The plot was extremely predictable.

henceforth i will make sure not to fall in this kind of trap.

If you really want to read quality love stories you might as well read The museum of Innocence by phamuk or an atlas of impossible longing Anuradhs Roy or some classic like Anna Karenina....

The book wastes my Time as well as Money also...

If I could rate it on a negative scale, I would give it a a minus five but for now it has
    to do with one star.

  4.  Book Review: ‘I too had a love story’ by Ravinder Singh 9 April, 2014 On Junglee.com
Ravinder Singh’s ‘I also acquired the enjoy story‘ would be the author’s real-life enjoy account which seems to have hit the chord from the minds from the readers across the country, which makes it the nationwide bestseller. The publication could possibly be place under the class ‘Fiction’, however it is just a well-known undeniable fact that everyone of these chapters can be imbibed through the author’s private ordeals.

The book can be published throughout primary person, the location where the article author attempts to go into detail the relationship among him as well as Khushi ordinary manner i couldn’t assist however feel the complete issue via Ravin’s eyes. The publication explains to people this account of exactly how a pair of strangers with distinct goals as well as desires throughout existence satisfied using a matrimonial web site as well as exactly how his or her enjoy bloomed, until finally fate place it to be able to their supreme analyze.

What exactly would appeal to this target audience would be the straightforwardness and also the credibility with that this particular publication has become published, which makes this target audience therefore easily fooled to think this occasions from the book. As well as the undeniable fact that enjoy stories don’t generally stop that has a delighted ending. The part where Ravin as well as Khushi finally match after several weeks of primary conference on the internet, speaking around the mobile phone as well as how the article author indicates it is a treat towards readers. Any Bollywood blockbuster waiting to take place, this particular publication is amongst the not many by simply a great Indian article author that you might actually telephone the page-turner. 5.  A passionate love story of a young techie with a poignant tragic end 16 November, 2013 On Junglee.com
A young software engineer Ravinder (Ravin) accidentally comes across a call centre executive Kushi, over a famous Indian matrimonial site. They come to know of each other deeply without even meeting each other, for a long time, until when they one day decide to meet up and have a feel of how they can face each other. Unlike many love stories in India, these guys inform their respective parents and take approval of their proposed marriage after both of them get close enough to each others’ families. Exactly at this point of time when they are just about to get engaged to each other over a grand function, Kushi meets with a fatal accident. Ravin is totally devastated, heart-broken and left alone in the world to move on, but, to live like a living corpse, thenceforth.
The pristine feelings about the birth and death of the emotion called LOVE has been beautifully framed by the author and one can feel those passionate waves inside when the pages are being turned. Some special moments of Ravin like the first meeting with Kushi, the first touch and the heavy painful emotions that erupted just at the time of death of Kushi is worth a mention and applause. One can witness a tear escaping their eyes during the end of the book.
Very few stories like this written with great involvement last long in the minds of the readers for quite a long time.

  6.  I too had a love story 19 September, 2013 On Junglee.com
D title says ‘I TOO HAD A LOVE STORY’ ( Did he really? I ‘m not very sure whether it was love or sum guy gloating over it..He checks out an air-hostess while his ’soulmate’ is dying & has d audacity 2 paint himself innocent..u call dis luv??)

Guess vat, it is a stupid, stupid book! Riding on d Chetan Bhagat bandwagon, here cums anoder Indian writer wid a so called’ heartbreaking true love tale’. Its d story of Ravin, who falls in luv wid a girl whom he met on a matrimonial site n finally loses her 2 fate. The style of writing is very much similar 2 dat of Bhagats, but a lot worse. Its filled wid cheesy dialogues n attempts at jokes at even d deathbed. My collagemates who had read it described it as humourous, among many oder things. If dis is ur definition of humour, den mind u, I am not d person 2 b wid. While I was reading d buk, I was not sure whether I really hated it or was it an ok-ok type. Den came appoint ver I read :
“ V r trying our best , but der is no guarantee dat, 4 d rest of her life, she vil b as beautiful as she was b4. Thank u 4 standing by her.” ( D entire conversation lasts almost a page) Dat was d final blow 4 me.It was really easy 2 hate d buk after dat.

If dis is his real life luv story & d fact dat he dedicated almost a page 2 how a nurse tells him how gud a person he is, den dat tells a lot about d author. R good men so scarce on earth dat v label any guy as good?( By good ‘men’, I don’t mean humanity as such, only d men(u knw, d 1 wid d XY chromosome) coz der r enough good women in d world hidden behind veils imposed by d society n d 4 walls of a kitchen imposed by family. If all der goodness ver 2 b radiated, devil wud probably go blind!)

Oh, & he tries 2 show his respect 4 women too( anoder failed attempt 2 boast himself).

In d buk ’ d fountainhead’, Elsworth says dat a gud critic shud b 1 who shud b able 2 impose his ideas on d society.. If he labels a bad buk as excellent, den it shud bcum d bestseller.. I can only understand d success of dis buk as d outome of sumthing sinister like dat. If dis makes a nation cry, den mayb v r a nation looking 4 reasons 2 cry. If dis is true luv, den mayb v r too blinded by bollywood romances.

In Atlas Shrugged, Rand says “All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.” (U guessed it rit, I luv Ayn Rand!).. All dat is necessary 4 d success of a bad buk is d scarcity of honest reviews. Der is a lot of positive opinion about d buk dat d negativity drowns in it. Hence, dis review.

D succcess of dis book reminds me of a conversation between d American President & his aide Lewis in d movie 'D American President':
Lewis : " People don't have a choice! Bob Rumson is the only one doing the talking! People want leadership, Mr. President, and in the absence of genuine leadership, they'll listen to anyone who steps up to the microphone. They want leadership. They're so thirsty for it they'll crawl through the desert toward a mirage, and when they discover there's no water, they'll drink the sand."

President : "Lewis, we've had presidents who were beloved, who couldn't find a coherent sentence with two hands and a flashlight. People don't drink the sand because they're thirsty. They drink the sand because they don't know the difference."

D same applies in d case of books. People make bestsellers out of nonsense due 2 d absence of gud books. I can only hope dat sumbody sumwhere mit b toiling on a brilliant manuscript now 2 save us frm buks like des.

In short, I hate d book. I hate d book so much dat i managed 2 drag my lazy ass out of bed n write dis. Read d book, so dat u know ver ur standards r. D cover of d book says ‘National Bestseller’. If dis is d kind of book dat bcums a national bestseller, den I shud assume d whole nation has gone nuts!

  7.  A Real Time Experience 18 March, 2014 On Junglee.com
I am a bit skeptical about reading "Love Stories".... I happened to read an article about the author of this book and about his work... I decided to experiment what experience this story can provide me..Believe me...! the first episode reminded me of "3 Idiots..." but from the second one... I never wanted leave the book aside and wished to read it at one go..."Kushi" and "Shona" started living around me and I virtually started experiencing their mutual love and affection.. Such was the author's writing.. true, genuine, upfront, to the point,.. whatever you say... there was no "Ornamental" or "purposely framed" sentences... Al-through the reading of this book, I was comfortable with the flow and at the end (though I knew about it) I could not control the emotional outburst.. A "Real" good love story to pick for....
