Overview: Interpretation of Dreams- Master's Collection By Sigmund Freud

Coming from the repertoire of the founding father of psychoanalysis himself, the book 'Sigmund Freud's Interpretation of Dreams (Master's Collections)' is a must have if you're even remotely interested in the above mentioned domain. It was originally published in the 20th century, and over the years, it has served as a massive inspiration to multiple psychologists.

Are you an out of the box thinker? Do you often dream about dreams? Are you intrigued by the mysterious world of dreams? If yes, then this book is tailor made for you. The book explores in detail the vague theory of dreams. The author postulated that with the help of dreams, the unconscious aims to resolve conflicts. Subjects like psycho sexual development and the Oedipal complex have also been vastly discussed in the book.

One of the most eye catching facts about this book is - the author has used himself as a subject. Ergo, he analyzed his own dreams and uses his study as a material. Having labeled dreams as a royal road to the unconscious world, Sigmund Freud travels down memory lane to touch some of his most precious childhood memories. At the end of his study, he concluded that every dream has a unique meaning, a symbol per se. The images, happenings, caricatures laid out in a dream actually mean something in the real world. This interpretation and the science behind it is a world which hasn't been fully explored yet. Can you take the plunge?

Apart from working as a medical practitioner, he has also worked as a university lecturer in the year 1885 [for the field of neuro-pathology]. 1.  The most elaborate theories on dream. Ever. 18 September, 2013 On
Sigmund Freud is a very celebrated name when it comes to Psychology and other related studies. His observations and findings (detailed analysis based) make you wonder how amazing the sub-conscious world is and at times you get sucked into the illusion of life being a dream. Pick this book immediately if dream analysis and understanding dream psychology excites you, there is nothing better in the world compiled into one book than this volume. What an extensive collection of anecdotes and occurring from various parts of the world. Written over a 100 years ago, this book makes you realize how relevant his findings are even today.
Things I Like about the book:
The academic approach taken by the author, takes you on a very systematic study of dreams and not just read a story. Scientific procedures have been followed in the explanation of various theories, with sufficient backing of observations.

You may get to read the book online or on a kindle for free, so you can save about 300 bucks. But this book will certainly not hurt if you're mad about dreams and its interpretation.

Buy this book, and you will enjoy your dreams even more.
