'Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar' is a 90's superhit Hindi film that has won critical acclaims for the story and the performances. It is also the Filmfare Award winner for best film of the year 1992. Plot Of The Movie
The inter-college champion of the cycling race has always been the most prestigious title in the small town of Dehradun. Ratan and Shekhar are the prime contenders of the championship title. In the beginning of the movie, Shekhar, being from a well-to-do family wins the race since he rides a bike that is superior to that of poor Ratan. Though there is always a tension between the two, Ratan's brother Sanju has a carefree attitude and roams around the town with his friends, smoking cigarettes and bunking sports classes. Sanju falls for Devika, who belongs to a rich family, and he tries to impress her with the wealth that he does not have. He ends up spending the money, which his father gives him to deposit in the bank to buy a new cycle for Ratan, on Devika. Later, Ratan meets with an accident while cycling. Sanju finds out that it has been plotted by Shekhar. When their father comes back from town with a new bike, he finds Ratan injured. Now, Sanju decides to take part in the race and starts practicing. On the day of the championship, lots of chaos happens, finally leading to the victory of Sanju, played by Aamir Khan.
