I had bought this TC for extended zoom for wildlife and used on 100-400L, 70-200L F2.8, 70-300L canon L series lenses with canon 650D, 7D and 5D MK III. The biggest reason, I had chosen Kenko over Canon is because of its Compatibility with 70-300 L, no other TC is compatible. I choose this Pro version over MC version with in Kenko because of image quality.

The results have not been very encourage as the image softening is evident in most combinations and Auto Focus works fine with odd hunting at a times.

Kenko recommends to use with prime lens instead of zoom for optimal results (Image quality) and F2.8/F4.0 are optional recommendations.

So if you have zoom lens and care mostly for extended reach than image quality, then you can go for this TC
