After I got my kindle touch, I've read over 6 books in less than a month's time - I've never read more than 3 a year.
Additionally, I'd recommend that you choose either of the three after careful deliberation:
1) Kindle touch, 3G
Pros:
Touch screen navigation - which is good.
Touch dictionary - which is awesome
Cons:
No landscape orientation option - required for better viewing of pdfs
Limited free 3G coverage globally - Amazaon and Wikipedia are the only accessible sites
2) Kindle keyboard, 3G
I don't own it, but it has landscape orientation option as well as free 3G access to all sites though it lacks touchscreen navigation
3) Kindle DX
I don't own it, but it has a bigger screen with comes at a price.
Once you get it, you can have Calibre as your ebook management software, and explore the web - forums like mobileread, mobilism - to enhance your kindle experience.
Best of luck. VikramWas this review helpful to you? -

5 of 8 people found this review helpfulBy 3 February, 2012PricingIsn't it supposed to be far more cheaper compared by the dollar price? I mean you would think that given the fact that amazon is opening in india soon and that they have started purchasing warehouse spaces in certain areas of the country, they would keep stock of these things so that they can be shipped easily without the customs charges and everything.
If amazon is to do well in India they have to keep their prices low just like in the USA. Far as I've heard apart from UK and US it pretty much sucks in other EU countries and China and JP as well...Was this review helpful to you?
For items offered by international sellers, the Rupee price shown on this site is an estimated price. The actual price charged to you, including applicable shipping, duty and tax charges, fluctuates from time to time. In addition, your bank may apply a different exchange rate when you pay for the item.
