The author Apurva Purohit is a working woman herself. Her experiences working at Radio City, where she is a CEO, have led her to write this funny, anecdote filled narration is a delight to read. She has been in the position for 25 years and through a successful career and equally successful family life, she manages to provide hints and tips for the typical working mother to balance out the difficult tasks at both home and work. It is indeed a tough job to do well on both fronts, but with good management, right attitude both with the boss and the kids, and a will to make life work for oneself, any lady can do it easily. The style is not preachy but friendly, smoothly guiding the reader through stories of her own life at the radio company and her ordeal of training the interns at office and husband at home!      Awesome book....for Every Indian Woman 19 September, 2013 On
I got this book as a birthday gift and honestly it's one of the best gift I have ever received. Apurva Purohit, CEO of Radio City 91.1 FM, simply nailed it to perfection.

The book is a hilarious and witty take on real life scenarios faced by working women, when not just working women but women in general. The women of today's India don't want to compromise in anything be it family or work. And this book is just perfect for that giving a outline on how to juggle hectic work life and personal life.

The Book has three parts accept, adapt and achieve. Accept that you are different from men...mentally, physically, emotional and psychologically. After you have accept the fact adapt with the situation. Now your shortcomings, the people that surround you, the opportunities around you and than utilize it to the fullest. And at-last bask is some glory girl. Cherish your achievements...small or big celebrate your accomplishment.

The book is easy to read and has a funny and witty undertone to it which makes it a fun ride. The author has done a great job in putting some simple facts in an effective way with loads and loads of tips on handling many things.

Highly recommended to all the women out there. It's mainly written for working ladies but I think all women can relate to it and also find it useful. I am a student and found it amazing.
