Here is a book for the times that we now live in, though it's about the women of the Bible who lived thousands of years ago. It's an interesting view of the situations these women found themselves in and how they dealt with them. God used ordinary and extraordinary women to impact society of that day and even now, their lives still speak to us. Get a view of the world from the perspective of Eve, the first woman to live in it. See how Deborah, the only female judge to lead Israel handled her tremendous responsibility. Learn about Abigail the intelligent beautiful woman who was married to a fool and how she dealt with his stupidity. Observe Miriam the woman who decided to question God's authority in her life and the consequences of her decision. Walk with Queen Vashti, a woman who would not compromise her principles regardless of the cost. See how God was preparing the stage for Queen Esther and how she used her influence to save the Jewish people. Lament with Tamar the young lady who suffered abuse and finally watch the grooming of Ruth as she followed the wise instructions of her mother-in-law, Naomi. The mistakes and the wisdom of these women are yet speaking to us today, and the lessons that we can learn from them are priceless. This is truly a wonderful book for use in women's groups, seminars and book clubs. Though it is written about women, men are sure to enjoy the stories and learn from the lessons. An easy, enjoyable read that's great for discussions and one that will make you pay closer attention to the Women of the Bible.

About the Author
Apostle Betty Bigesby is a native of Washington, DC. She gave her heart to the Lord in 1975 and immediately, the Holy Spirit began to train her for ministry. She is the Senior Pastor of the Jubilee Worship Center in Friendship, MD., which began in 2003. She has assisted other ministers, ministries, pastors and community groups in developing and training leaders. She is a gifted Apostle, whom the Lord has raised up in these last days to help to prepare a people who are ready for the return of the Lord. The Holy Spirit has anointed her to teach such revelation from the Word of God that it challenges the hearers to come out of their sphere of complacency and accept the challenge to know their God and to walk in His ways. Her “Transformation Seminars” have literally done just that, transformed the lives of the saints of God by teaching them who they are, identifying their gifts and talents and teaching them the pattern and the progression of God’s Kingdom, through His Word. She has been greatly used by the Holy Spirit to minister in women’s classes, seminars, prisons and retreats to bring liberation to women of every denomination as she instructs them in the Word of God for their lives and their families. She has also ministered in men’s shelters and ministries and has witnessed an immediate change in the men as she identified their gifts and talents and challenged them to use them. More than once, men started viable businesses even before leaving the shelter as they caught the truths that she taught them from God’s word. She has ministered in the U.S., Jamaica and Africa. In Africa the Holy Spirit used her to bring reform to an area in West Africa that had not accepted women ministries, but afterwards started their first women’s ministry and invited her back as the first conference speaker. Apostle Bigesby is the founder and C.E.O. of U.N.I.T.E. (Umbrella of Nations Inspiring Total Enrichment) Ministries, Inc., a Community Development Corporation in Dunkirk, MD.; Imagine Enterprises in Friendship, MD., and one of the three founding members of The Oaks of Righteousness Apostolic Network in Dunkirk, MD. These ministries are committed to helping to bring Apostolic Reform to the Body of Christ by teaching and training the saints how to minister not only in the church but also in the marketplace. She has been taught and mentored by many of the “Generals of the Faith” during her walk.
