This classic piece of work was produced by B. R. Chopra, and directed by his son Ravi Chopra. The story revolves around the very famous Kurukshetra war between the noble Pandava princes and their scheming cousins, the Kaurava princes, of the Bharata clan. It started as a feud between them on who is first in line to succeed the throne; Duryodhana, the eldest Kaurava prince or Yudhisthira the eldest Pandava prince. This feud then culminated in the war of Kurukshetra in which ultimately the Pandavas won.
It includes the whole story of the 18 parvas or books of Mahabharat; from the dice games, Draupadi's humiliation, and twelve years of exile to the Kurukshetra war.A classic Indian epic
