I bought this modem in January 2013. I had to replace the modem within 1 month itself because of a lot of problems like overheating, getting disconnected and reconnected frequently. weak signals. It cannot be used for more than 2 hours continuously, as its performance will become horrible. I was happy as i got a replacement for this when I approached the Netgear service. But soon I realized that the new modem also had the the same troubles as that of the old one. I lost the money and a lot of time for reconfiguring and troubleshooting this modem. I would never suggest buying this
