a great way to learn UNIX internals
25 June, 2013
This book guides you through the design and implementation of UNIX/POSIX internals, with full, working source code at each step. While the book is quite old, as is Minix, the OS used as an example implementation, it's all very relevant.
If you are serious about diving deep into UNIX internals: get this book, written by the author of minix himself and learn all the basics in detail.
