Very Good Shoes for Serious Trekkers.
13 November, 2013
Again a quality product from Quechua.
I was using a Woodland shoes which they branded as Trekking shoes and was very disappointed with it. They lack grip and comfort. My friend advised me to go for this product.
Now I am using this for the past 5 months. Already did 2 long treks. Planning to go for Goeche La in the very near future. The shoes sustained water drenching and rugged terrains. Still in brand new condition.
The sole is semi-hard and semi-flexible UNLIKE woodlands which really is hard and hence offers less grip on slippery surfaces.
The boot comes upto ankle length hence gives good support to ankles. Looks awesome and sturdy.
CONS: There are a few cons for the product.
1) Water resistance - Is less. But dries quickly. Inside sole absorbs water and becomes heavier.
2) Weight - Weighs over 1.7 kg for a pair. With water, it drags your foot
3) Availability - As i my review fr Quechua Trekking bag, the same applies here. There are very few online stores where the item is sold.
Despite the Cons, I would recommend this product for everyone, as this is the BEST trekking shoes available in India now. So go for it.
Good Value for Money.
