  1.  Rituparno Ghosh's Masterpiece 31 May, 2013 On
Raincoat is one of the few movies by Rituparno Ghosh that I have watched, because I am bounded by limitations of language. And, I can say this much- this is one of the best Hindi movies that I ever watched and it will forever be etched in my memory. I watched this movie last night again, when I got to know about the demise of Rituparno. Aishwarya Rai's performance as the village belle Neeru is like never before, and Ajay Devgan, of course, makes an impressive Manu.

The movie captures a poignant moment in the life of the two separated lovers, who meet after a very long time. It explores the concept of love from a very different angle- is love undying? How much can you sacrifice for the one you love? Must say, this is the most realistically shot, romantic movie that i guess, one can find in Hindi cinema. RIP Rituparno Ghosh, you will live forever in our hearts through your movies.
