Product Description

Get ready to tango with RANGO, a winner with critics and audiences that's "like nothing you've ever seen before" (Peter Travers, Rolling Stone). Johnny Depp is spectacular as Rango, a quirky pet chameleon who gets tossed into a wild and raucous town in desperate need of a hero. Refreshingly original with eye-popping animation, RANGO is "loads of fun and genuinely funny" (Betsy Sharkey, Los Angeles Times).

  1.  Rango - Amazing Animation! 27 November, 2013 On
This IS THE movie to watch in Bluray, and I will tell you why.

Rango is just the opposite of all the feel good, glossy and polished animated movies that are the norm nowadays; instead the protagonist is a carefree 'awaara' lizard. who looks dirty. and wears loose fitting clothes. and is not lovable.
But the thing to note are the beautiful depiction of pupils, the facial expressions(which is very difficult on a dirty lizard's face), the equally ugly Dirt villagers and the fitting storyline that reminds you of water problems in desert areas in our present world.

The 4 owls are different than the 4 penguins of Madagascar movie of which an analogy is drawn soon- they are sad, speak of death and their music is full of melancholy; yet they are an inetresting musical addition to the desert story.

The lead voice of Johnny Depp is fitting. SPOILER ALERT- The depiction of Rattlesnake Jake and Red Tailed Hawk is awesome- and the chase of Hawk and Rango is one of the many scenes that stays with you after the movie and makes you watch it again and again. Also the scene in the bar where Rango boasts to Dirtonians!

The film also scores on the emotional front carrying a message that 'Deeds maketh the man, not his name'. A film that people of all ages will love, no doubt.
