Dick Whittington is an English folklore about a poor orphan boy called Dick Whittington who sets out for the city in London that has gold-paved streets. The Pied Piper of Hamelin is a German fiction book for children. The tale is during the Middle Ages when a great number of children die or depart from the town of Hamelin. Pete and The Wolf is a Russian children's story written by Sergei Prokofiev. The story has a young boy, who, in spite of his grandfather's warning, goes out in the woods, and meets a wolf.
