The writer Georges Remi, popularly known as 'Herge' is one of the most iconic cartoonist of this era. The Belgian cartoonist received worldwide honor and love for his work. Some of the notable awards include the 'Adamson Awards' by Sweden in 1971 and the lifetime award at the festival of Lucca, 1972. An asteroid located between Mars and Jupiter was named after Herge, to celebrate his seventy-fifth birth anniversary. There is a museum in Belgium, which is dedicated on his work.
