The interest to read was aroused only after getting to know about Mira Nair's movie. The book fell short of my expectations; was looking at something much more engrossing.
There's an exaggeration of Changez's love life which could have been done away with. Rather other relevant elements in the book could have been elaborated. The turning point of the book is page 72 - Changez's reaction to the Twin Towers collapse !!
