Overview: Rusty Runs Away

Rusty: Runs Away is a teenage fiction novel based on the adventures of a young boy named Rusty. This book is the second installment of the Rusty series, following up from his childhood years. Set in the scenic and picturesque Dehradun, it is sure to entertain young readers. This book is the 25th publication from Penguin Books India. It is available in paperback format and forms part of the Puffin series.

This book chronicles the adolescent years of Rusty, the times when he went through sad life-altering changes. He looses his father and grandmother in quick succession, and is left in Dehradun under the care of Mr. Harrison. A further twist of events has Rusty sent off to boarding school. He then has a sudden dream-like fantasy of running away from school and travelling the world. However, Rusty is sadly brought back to reality when he gets shipped back to Dehradun. At 17, he makes a decision to leave home and never return. What's captivating about this book is the rebellious and adventurous character of Rusty.
