Savvy Cyber Kids At Home: The Family Gets A Computer by Ben Halpert is a book that not only entertains you but at the same time educates you too. Ben Halpret is Founder and President of Savvy Cyber Kids, a non-profit organization under 501(c)3. The organization came into existence in 2007 with a sole purpose of creating, building and maintaining cyber awareness for parents and teachers of younger generation. In the same wake, various kind of resources are provided to create and sustain cyber awareness. Under the same prospects Savvy Cyber Kids at Home series evolved taking up various relevant and important pointers in the journey. The cover, graphics, presentation and text is excellently selected to covey the right message in a very interesting way.

The book Savvy Cyber Kids At Home: The Family Gets A Computer by Ben Halpert, irrespective of its size, only 38 pages, graphical presentation and so little of text; does not mean it is not important. Rather it is a must read for all pre-teen kids for building and learning about their own self defense while spending their time online in the cyber world. It is equally important for teenagers to upkeep their cyber defense mechanism and to educate the same to their younger siblings. It is more important for us, parents and teachers, so as to keep updated about the cyber world and security related awareness which not is going to be helpful for us but to inculcate the same in our children.

Safety of pre-teens and teenagers on internet in quite important as the budding cyber users need protection from cyberbullying, cyber-crime and browsing to unwanted sites not suitable for their age. They also need to understand usual illegal activities like spam, phishing, et al. The story has interesting characters Emma and Tony who speak in their own language. In the story, Emma and Tony interact with each other in order to bring out the importance of protecting your personal information online. By providing your personal details and geographic locations anywhere and everywhere might lead to a serious risk that might require a big cost and effort for its mitigation. It is important to keep your information as private as possible while playing online games in the cyber world. This all has been well highlighted in Savvy Cyber Kids At Home: The Family Gets A Computer by Ben Halpert.

Every day there is a tremendous increase in new younger generation entrants in cyber world. More and more pre-teens and teenagers join the cyber world for online games and other activities. That way, the book Savvy Cyber Kids At Home: The Family Gets A Computer by Ben Halpert becomes essentially important to read for all generations as it is surely going to give a piece of advice to anyone who reads it.
