  1.  Entertaining, but not Pratchett's best 25 February, 2014 On Junglee.com
    "Snuff" is one of Terry Pratchett's more recent novels. While it displays some of his trademark elements (satire, subplot about civil rights, snarky observations about society, etc.), it's not well organized. While certainly entertaining at times, it reads as if it were assembled from separate parts by somebody who wanted to imitate Pratchett. For example, the villain is a two-dimensional cutout, which has never happened in any of the other books by Pratchett. His motivations and background are never explained and he's just a convenient foe for Sam Vimes while he's vacationing out in the country.
