Do NOT buy this phone
I am writing this review here so that others can be benefited from it and not make the same mistake that I did. I did not buy this phone at Junglee but would like to caution others.
I bought the phone on 18/11/2012. It has not been a month and I have been to the service center 3 times. I might have gone more times but I did not have time to go there frequently. From the day I took the phone out of the box, I have faced the same problem. As instructed, I kept the phone for charging for 6 hrs and after that, started using it. Display flickers by the 5th minute of using it!! It is sooo irritating. It becomes more when the wifi is on and you are browsing something,
First time when I took it to the service center, the software was upgraded and returned. Once I got it back, it worked fine for 3 days again, back to same problem. I took it again after 10 days since I was busy and I was told that software was customized and refreshed. When asked for a replacement, was told it was not possible to give a new phone and if need be, LCD would be changed, and cant tell for sure that it would be a new one!! I bought the phone when it was Rs. 19,999 and I have not been able to use it properly even for 19 days because of the display issue and not having a sim. You see, I bought this phone because my old phone, xperia x10 mini pro was lost.
I am regretting my decision to but a Sony phone. Sony Ericsson had been so good. I had been using Sony Ericsson since the past 8 yrs and never faced any problem. Year after year I have been using Sony Ericsson and have been so in love with all of them. I never thought I would go and buy something other than Sony/Sony Ericsson but now I am forced to. Please do NOT buy it. Sony service center will make you come again and again but wont give you a replacement. Its pathetic.
