  1.  A masterpiece from the master storyteller 5 October, 2013 On
Wilbur Smith weaves a great yarn! You could pick up any of his book, and it is highly probable that you will not be able to put it down for hours.

The Sunbird is an exploration of another myth. That you could have led two lives, and they could have similarities. The characters as like any Smith novel as larger than life, there is the ever present danger in the air, and the huge mix of facts thrown in to keep it interesting. I've read this book four times over, and could still read it again. Highly recommended if you like Africa, adventure and a great story
