I bought this novel to read while traveling as a means to kill time and ended up finishing it in one night.
The suspense with flavors of romance makes it an interesting read. The romance flows easy and you could feel the character falling in love. The plot is quite intriguing too. Its a nice blend of romance and mystery/suspense. As its a romantic novel the romance is good, the writer focused on the relationship and not on the individual characteristic and background like most romance novels do.The author didn't fast track unfolding the mystery surrounding the Hero, rather let the suspense grow. She build the love between the characters chapter by chapter and let their growing relationship unfold the many hidden layers of the hero. I liked how the emails and the conversation between the main characters which seemed normal at the beginning made more sense as the story progressed. The key ingredient is of-cource love, romance and also trust. These three things flow beautifully throughout the book and helps in building the tension between the characters and also the mystery surrounding the murder and hero.
There is nothing so bad about this book. The end was dramatized a bit and hastily concluded. The main culprit was but-obvious but being a avid mystery book reader I have experience with mediocre books so it was not a mood killer.
>>>>Recommended or not
I am not a fan of full on Romance novels(hate agony and all), I prefer suspense n mystery thrillers and this fulfilled my needs. Don't expect hardcore thrill or suspense like some mystery novel. It is a romantic novel so the main emphasis is on love. I would recommend this to the ones who like good, easy...intrigue/suspense filled romantic books.
