Overview: Without Fear

Without Fear is a motivational and inspirational story about the life of the Indian freedom fighter Bhagat Singh and his struggles. The book not only talks about the exasperated youth but also of the intellectual through his writings during his stay in jail. The author Kuldip Nayar has focussed mainly on bringing out the other side of the martyr- his beliefs, learnings and dreams.

Without Fear covers the life and freedom struggles of Bhagat Singh. When Mahatma Gandhi's non-violence was losing its grip over the people, Bhagat SIngh's daredevilry and support of non-violence with an outright defiance of British rule captivated the youth of the nation. His war-cry 'Inquilab Zindabad' became a national rage. The Lahore Conspiracy case got him executed at the age of 23, but has always been praised for his courage, patriotism and intellect.

The author has disclosed lots of secrets that were questioned by various historians. Why Hans Raj Vohra betrayed Bhagat Singh? Was Sukhdev loyal to Bhagat Singh or not? What made Bhagat Singh choose violence despite Mahatma Gandhi's condemnation? The book also has managed to let the readers know about the other side of this freedom fighter. Through his writings during his stays in jails, Kuldip has managed to hand pick and present in front of all the deep thoughts of Bhagat Singh with high regards.
