The sequel to franchise American horror film series that sees people survive attacks by deformed cannibals track and kill in West Virginia brings not only more gore, but adds a new type of rugged character - hardened prisoners and prison guards. The guards and the prisoners, in a transfer bus to a prison face a on-road crash that leaves them at the mercy of the thick Virginia forest.
The character cast is itself incredibly intimidating. This includes Tamer Hassan, who plays Chavez, a crime leader and angry gangster, Floyd (played by Gil Kolirin) is a muscle-bound neo Nazi serial killer. Simultaneously, college students on a rafting trip give viewers a first glimpse of the horrors that lay in the forest. While the criminals may think themselves to be truly "badass", there is a greater evil lurking in the forest. To capture the feeling of a dark foreboding forest, the movie was shot in Sofia, Bulgaria. The movie's biggest draw is the various trips and the tricks that the cannibals use for their attacks.
