    Fantastic Book
This book as with all of the magic tree house books is fantastic. My son and I have read every one of them and are highly anticipating the next one in March 2006. Jack and Annie once again go on an exciting mission. These books aren't just fun they are educational also. A must read for all

    Jack & Annie's Baghdad Adventure
Jack and Annie are on another exciting adventure. Using the magic tree house in Frog Creek, PA, they travel to Ancient Baghdad. Author Mary Pope Osborne recalls her own travels in Iraq to write this Magic Tree House story. Like other adventures Jack and Annie have experienced, the brother and sister team must solve riddles in order to complete a mission. Jack and Annie's mission is to help the caliph of the Arab empire spread wisdom to the world. Using magic rhymes to help them complete their mission, Jack and Annie travel through a desert, battle a sandstorm, and face bandits to deliver a treasure to the caliph in Baghdad. I enjoyed this story of Jack and Annie's adventure in Ancient Baghdad. The tale has mystery and excitment that will appeal to kids as well as adults. I also like the historical settings and information about places that can be learned through these adventures. I look forward to the next magic trip of Jack and Annie.

    Marvelous
Each time I purchase a book for my Grandchildren, I read it before I give it. At seven Alex is now reading chapter books and This is the second Magic Tree House book I have read. Alex was pleased when he saw another of the series. The action, dialogue and narrative are interesting and age appropriate. I intend to purchase more of the series for future gifts for Alex and my other Grandchildren as they grow ready. I feel comfortable giving any of the books in the series as gifts, the author, Mary Pope Osborne, is talented and insightful.

Season of the Sandstorms is a good book. They go to a desert and find people which help them on their journey to help save Camelot, but you need to read the rest of the book to find about their journey. I hope you injoy this book.

Once again Mary Pope Osborne has created a magical book to sweep the children away. She cannot write them fast enough according to my children!!!

    Sandstorms!!
It was cool they went to Baghdad, and then it was cool they used the magic rhymes that teddy and kathleen gave them for four missions. Because they had a lot to do in four missions - Liam, aged 5

    excellent portrayal of another culture
I love this series and my three-year-old son and I listen to them all the time on audiobook. He is fascinated and transfixed and requests "Jack and Annie" every time we get in the car. Mary Pope Osborne continually offers stories about different people and different lands that inspire imagination and familiarity. That's why I love this particular book so much in its portrayal of a land and culture that Americans know so little about. I love that she conveys the deep commitment to knowledge and acknowledges the major contribution to science and philosophy that came from the Arab world. Hooray for building bridges between cultures! Hooray for offering a hand into imagination that really can change the world!

This is one of many books in the series and my daughter absolutely loves these books. As soon as she got it she couldn't put it down until she finished the book.
