    Great Soup Pot
I recently purchased this pan and am very pleased with it. The Flame finish is as gorgeous as ever, but more importantly, the pan is of unsurpassable quality. Just be careful the first time you use it, you'll be surprised by how well it distributes heat.

Functional and High- Quality at a Terrific Price
Le Creuset's 2 5/8-Quart Soup Pot is a wonderful addition to my kitchen. The pot is attractive, and cooks well. It is designed to fit the small burner on our ranges, so it doesn't take up lots of space when cooking. The pot works best when making modest sized servings of soups or stews which fits my family's needs perfectly. This is the first Le Creuset item I've purchased, and I couldn't be happier.

    Excellent Cooking Pot
My wife loves this cookware. It keeps the heat very well and it is excellent at browning meat (as opposed to burning the meat). She also loves that it cooks the food evenly, which other pots have not done well (She has tried teflon and copper pots and they do not do a good job in this area). She heartily recommends this product.

    Don't hesitate
If you are thinking of buying this soup pot don't think twice. Pricey but VERY nice. It's a perfect size for soup for two. I have a smooth electric stove top. Maybe some of you have noticed, with this type stove, it's hard to keep a simmer going if you lift the lid to peek. This pan holds a steady heat creating delicious soups and stews. My husband loved the results so much, he had me order the round French oven.I'll buy more of this cookware and throw out 28 years of accumulated stainless steel and non-stick pans. I'd suggest looking at your current cookware, decide what you use the MOST (daily?) and start replacing those pieces today. You won't regret it.As for looks and design,it's beautiful. I have Chestnut Brown and Flame pieces. It's too pretty to hide in the cupboard! Amazon has the best prices on this cookware.

    Great Cookware
We use this soup pot for just about everything. It's the perfect size for making a sauce or cooking vegetables. We have a small minimalist kitchen with only 3 pots (2 LeCreuset and 1 Lodge)and probably use this one most often. It cleans up easily. For food that adheres or even burns, just soak it in water for about 1/2 hour and it comes clean with a regular sponge, soap, and water. The drawbacks are the price and the inability to use metal utensils with it. Every few months we clean the outside with a scouring pad to retain its beautiful glaze.

    Perfect Cookware!
I love this pot. It does bring out the taste of all ingredients. My husband also noticed the difference in the dish I made yesterday! I am so happy about this purchase!

    Wow!
I've been an Amazon customer for over 11 years and I was still shocked by how quickly this soup pot was delivered.
Happy with the product and delighted with Amazon.

Soup pot can be used as a very small wok too.
Preheat in oven while getting mise en place together.
Take out of oven, place on burner and start stir-frying.
This may turn out to be my favorite pot.

    wonderful and versatile!
I got this soup pot a week ago and since then I have been using it all the time---for soup, porridge, risotto, moderate portion of stewing and much more. It's large enough for 2-3 persons, while its medium size won't occupy too much space in the kitchen. It also serves perfectly as a presentable dish itself and the classic flame colour always lightens up the whole table. Absolutely love it!

    loved le creuset!
I purchased my soup pot through amazon.com, fast shipping and couldn't pass up the $99 sale price. This is my first soup pot, and I love the size, just perfect for stews and soup. It's sturdy and beautiful,I have the flame color. I have been collecting the Le Creuset cookware, I have the 3qt. buffet, 5 qt.dutch oven, large fry pan, 2 qt. saute pan. It is pricey but well worth the price, these will last forever. I'm saving up for the 6.5 qt wide dutch oven.Buy the soup pot you will not regret it!
