    Neutrogena Strikes Again
I like Neutrogena in general. I find that their products (for the most part) are pretty easy on my skin and won't break it out.

Now, I'm quite fair-skinned, and I want to keep it that way. I burn easily, even in the winter, if it's a clear sunny day. Because of some of the stuff I put on my skin regularly, it is an absolute requirement that I have a good sunscreen on hand to use every single day, or else it'll pretty much negate all my efforts to make my skin look better.

So on my search for a good sunscreen, a friend's mom showed me this stuff. I'd been eager to try it out for myself, because I'd heard it works really well and I hate greasiness of regular 'ol sunscren.

It certainly doesn't make my skin greasy, but it leaves a bit of shine, like most sunscreens do. When I put it on, I barely know it's there, which is a huge plus! I just get a generous amount and cover any area that'll be exposed to the sun before I start the day.

The only drawback to this stuff is that it has a sunscreen-ish smell that I'm not particularly fond of, it's not a reeking, knock-you-out dear god what is that kind of smell, but it is strong enough to where you'll know it's on, and anyone close to you might catch a whiff, too. I'm not going to lie, when I first sniffed it, I was really really hesitant to slather it on...I usually have to spray on some body spray to cover it up, or else people will wonder why my skin smells so weird. After a while, though, maybe half an hour, I notice the smell kind of diminishes, but it's still there if you waft hard enough.

All in all, I like this sunscreen. As an avid sunscreen fanatic (for good reasons, of course!) who wears SPF 45 all year round, even in the wintertime, this is honestly one of my favorite products I've found. It's not too expensive, I got it on sale for about $7, and if you use it every day, it should probably last you a few weeks (provided you're putting enough on!)The only drawback is the smell, while it's not bad, it's noticeable, but I think it's still a great sunscreen that's worth a shot if you're looking for something that won't make your skin feel like a slip-n-slide.

    Good sunblock
This is a good sunblock but blocks cancer causing UVA better than UVB (sunburning UV). The Coppertone sport keeps me from burning better and seems to last longer yet is has almost not UVA protection. The water proof side of this lotion is not nearly as good as the Coppertone either. This Neutrorgena rated #1 on Consumers Reports as well. Unlike many other water proof lotions and sprays, this product goes on dry and feels more like a powder that lets your skin breath than a stick shell. Weigh your options. Want no sunburn then use something else, want a little sun and not cancer causing UVA use this.

It works, but watch your eyes
My wife gave this to me before a kayaking trip in Hawai'i. Extremely pale, I fit a stereotype of those who never venture into the sun. But, I had to go on this adventure, and I needed extreme tropical protection.

I applied it generously to legs, feet, face and neck. I did wear a solar-weave hat of 30 SPF and a long shirt as well. Still, I feared getting burned, as previous lotions in the 35 or 50 range had failed, either due to my incompetence or my complexion.

This one worked. I applied it twice, once before initial exposure and then, after getting wet, another time for the return portion of the river trip and the intense mid-day sun and extended water contact. However, it stung my eyes considerably the first application, as I never seem to get the knack of it avoiding my eyelashes.

It is creamy and smooth. While it does not glide on as delicately as other lotions, perhaps its layer of protection as rated demands a different formula. I used up a lot--about half the bottle--but it was worth it.

Great sunscreen -- but apply early
Overall, this is a great sunscreen. When applied correctly, it did not leave a greasy feeling and I found that it provided adequate protection while being out in the sun. However, there are a few thoughts to consider when purchasing.

First, like any sunscreen, this takes a while to become effective. I'd recommend applying 20-30 minutes before you will be out in the sun. Sometimes this is not convenient, but it's the best way to make sure you're protected. If you apply and then immediately go in the sun, you're not going to be fully protected initially, so you might get more sun than you expected.

Second, I found that this sunscreen leaves a bit of a white, powdery residue when it is first applied. It's apparent if you look at it, but it really is not terrible. After a few minutes the residue has either gone away on its own or I can rub it in with ease. So long as you're applying it early, it's not a big deal, but if you're bothered by having a faint white residue immediately after applying, then be aware.

Third, this is not a highly waterproof sunscreen. If you apply it to your forehead and either sweat or get wet, it can run into your eyes and be quite unpleasant. Not only will it burn, but it is just greasy enough to coat your entire eye and make it quite difficult to cleanse. It can also coat a contact lens should it run into your eye.

Finally, this does wear off eventually and you'll have to re-apply if you're still in the sun. Since it takes some time to become effective, be sure to apply before you start seeing too much color. Also, when you re-apply, you'll likely see the same powdery residue.

Overall, this is a great sunscreen. It is not really water resistant and it is a bit more expensive than some other sunscreens that I prefer, but if you're looking for a high-quality, dry-touch (no greasy feeling) sunscreen, this is a great choice.

    Good sunscreen for the money
It is significantly better then most of the sunscreens on the market, but it does leave a slight oily sheen on my face (no break-outs, though). However, it is made with Helioplex and is cheap compared to Lancome and Anthelios, so I have it. It smells differently and I do miss the "sunscreen" smell, but all in all it is just fine.

A bit greasy but works quite well
Bought the 3-pack, at a good price. Excellent sunblock that does moisturize your skin, but it's a bit greasy and does not feel good when you sweat.

    Wish this product was unscented
Bought this at a local drugstore and did not realize the product had a slight scent. For people who are sensitive to perfumes, or have allergies, this could be a problem as some perfumes cause problems.

Overall, I do like how easy this product to apply to the skin, and I do like the SPF factor.

I'd recommend using this suntan lotion, if you do not have problems with scented products.

    Good but
My only problem with this awesome smelling non-greasy sun block is that it can make your skin look dull if your skin is olive or darker.

    Effective and Comfortable to Use
This sunscreen is effective and comfortable to use. The scent is light and not coconuty like so many sunscreens, making it appropriate for everyday use. It is dry touch as advertised, and I wasn't aware of it on my skin after applying, nor did it make my face sting like some. I only give it four stars because the tube size is only 3 ounces, and if you are using as much as you should that doesn't go far, so this is a fairly expensive product.
