Must have to fly with B.O.B. 16 November, 2009
We gate checked our first B.O.B. without a bag. When we arrived at our destination, it was not the same stroller. Our next flight with B.O.B. we had purchased this bag to protect our new stroller. The bag with stroller enclosed was easy to haul through the airport and to the vehicle because it has wheels. It arrived at our destination in perfect condition. The reason I gave the bag only 4 stars is because it fits SO snuggly in the bag, it is difficult to take it in and out. If they made the bag slightly larger, and a little easier to pack (preferably, without needing instructions), it would be prefect. However, we do not fly without our B.O.B. and it's bag when we are headed for an outdoor or off road destination! I would highly reccomend any of the awesome B.O.B. products and the accessories only make them better! Check out the rain cover and the cup/key holder too. Great customer service to boot!

concerned it will be considered over sized luggage. 1 May, 2012
Just recently got a Bob revolution stroller and can't wait to take it on vacation so our little guy has some posh transportation. Talked to some friends about traveling with the Bob, and most had positive things to say about simply gate checking it with all the other strollers. We had decided to go that route until I saw this bag go on sale. With the investment in the Bob, I wanted to protect it and keep it in good shape for as long as possible, so I decided to get the travel bag. We have a trip coming up, and we are flying on Alaska Airlines, so we gave them a call. The official dimensions for the travel bag are 19x10x35, which is 64 linear inches. Alaska considers any bag 63 linear inches and over to be over sized, and subject to a $50 charge each way. However, they also state that any stroller and car seat would be free of charge. We would love to take our stroller, and even more so to use this bag, but we don't want to pay an extra $100 to do so. The travel bag is great, very similar to a travel bag for a bike(if you are familiar with those). Nice rigid framing, shoulder strap and wheels. There are axle covers for the front wheel, and a holder for the front wheel's skewer. Yes you have to take the wheels off, and it may not be the best option if you plan to wait to pack it at the last minute before boarding, if you practice a bit ahead of time you'll get used to it. I would feel comfortable checking the stroller in this travel bag, and really hope to do so in the near future. If the airlines continues to stand behind their size restriction(and I'm not saying they shouldn't), then we may be sending this back. :(

Great way to keep BOB safe while travelling! 23 May, 2013
I recently purchased this travel bag to protect our brand new BOB during a trip to Florida. Because of its size and the fact that you have to take the wheels off to store the stroller, we checked the whole thing as luggage and I wore baby in a carrier. Our stroller arrived safe and sound and we were able to store a few additional items such as diapers and the infant car seat adapter in there as well. I kind of wish that the whole system was a bit handier to check at the gate so you can use your stroller in the airport, but we are thinking we may just have to buy a cheap umbrella stroller or infant seat carrier as well. The BOB travel bag checked for free with Delta as a "baby item" so that works out great as well!

    perfect fit 30 April, 2013
It took a while to figure out, but now I like it and can see us using it to protect our stroller a lot more when traveling.

Held up and protected our stroller 5 March, 2013
We've only taken it on 1 round-trip flight but I am so glad that we had it - I wanted to take our Bob but not potentially sacrifice the stroller with the way things get handled when they're loaded into the planes. This protected the stroller and held up well.

    OVERALL I LIKED IT 17 December, 2012
WARNING: THE BAG ITSELF IS VERY LARGE AND I WAS WORRIED ABOUT GATE CHECKING IT BUT WE DIDN'T HAVE ANY PROBLEMS. WITH THE EXTRA ROOM IN THE BAG WE WERE ABLE TO PACK EXTRA BLANKETS AND TOYS IN THERE FOR WHEN WE WERE IN THE AIRPORT AND WE ALSO PACKED TRINKETS THAT WE BOUGHT ON VACATION IN THERE AS WELL. HOWEVER WITH THAT BEING SAID WE TRAVELED TO HAWAII WITH THE BAG AND IT HAS ALREADY RIPPED. ON THE BRIGHT SIDE I WOULD RATHER HAVE THE BAG RUINED THEN THE STROLLER ITSELF. OVERALL IT WAS A GOOD PURCHASE.
