This is a really cool toy! My son got it for his first birthday and he loves it. It has a two volume settings which is very good for the parents. The many settings offer more diverse learning, and the two languages are really helpful. All of the choices also keeps it from getting so annoying!

I have purchased several lead frog products and so far, have had no regrets. This products is very entertaining to young budding artists who love to move and dance. My 1-yr old loves to push the buttons and dance to the music. Great toy that is highly eductional. Also wonderful that it can be turned off to conserve battery.

    My first guitar!

I bought this guitar for my nephew who was 6 months old at the time. He loved the music and the animals. I ask my sister in law if I could have it back because she was giving away toys that he did not play with anymore. To my surprise he still loves his little guitar and he is 2 1/2 now. It is one of his favorite toys. So for Christmas "10, I bought it for my other nephew who is 9 months old. I hope that he gets the same use out of it. I would buy this guitar again. Great gift to get them into playing musical instruments.

When I went searching for an easy to use toy guitar that wouldn't bore the special needs child I was getting it for I was lucky enough to stumble on this one. Not only does it play music it does numbers and animal sounds and spanish.

My favorite feature of this guitar is that it offers several ways to trigger the interaction. The child can either hit the green bar in the handle turn the red nob or push the blue lever. The child I bought it for has some fine motor skills issues and some learning delays he quickly mastered the nob and the green button and was entranced by the bright colors and variety of tunes it plays.

It's very durable the things been dropped or flung dozens of times and doesn't show the slightest bit of wear and tear. I'm very tickled with this purchase and will be repeating it again soon.

I got this for my twins at 13 months old (found it at consignment for $5) and they still like it at 22 months. For awhile, they would accidentally turn it off and then cry because they didn't know how to turn it back on, but after a bit they figured out how to turn it off and on themselves. I have to say, though, I really don't think I would pay the full price for it - it is fun and entertaining, but the price seems a bit high to me.

My twin 17 mos old LOVE this toy

I have 2 17 mos old boys, and they both absolutely love this toy. I am not one for taking time to write reviews, but had to recommend this toy. One of my sons is in love with this toy more than the other son, he'll pick it up play it and rock out (head bobbing, foot tapping, the whole bit!). Both boys know how to use it easily, and have been playing with it since 12 mos old. They both like it more for the music aspect than the educational (animal noises) aspect. It has 3 song tracks (they have their favorite) and can play in English or Spanish, which is great in our house where we speak both. Nowadays I ususually have one on guitar and the other on xylophone.

I've had fun playing with this and haven't even given it to my daughter yet! Several different modes (numbers, animals, music, etc) keeps it interesting and the music has a fun "country swing" feel to it. My favorite part is the english/spanish feature. It is also really neat that it has some filler music so it can transition from "3 ducks" to "4 cats" without stopping the music. Pretty neat! Leap Frog always has good stuff and this is no exception.

    Daughters like it

I got this for my youngest daughter since she likes almost anything that plays music. She liked it, but since it requires a stroke motion to get the most out of it, she didn't get into it to much. She's 1 1/2. My older daughter who is almost 3, enjoyed it much more and usually plays with it when she sees it. It will not entertain her for long periods, but it does for a short while.
