Gorgeous - But Typical Skagen Instructions Included
Gorgeous watch and a great value for the money as Skagens usually are - Especially when you buy them from Amazon, as someone else mentioned :) The picture does not do it justice. The bezel is a mirror finish silver and the sides are recessed under the crystal. It almost looks black in the photo but it's not. The face is a brushed aluminum finish. The day and date are actually big enough to read and those sub-dials are also polished silver.

Skagen traditionally SUCKS at instructions, to be blunt. In fact I just had to return a Skagen 901XLBLB Moonphase because nobody could tell me how to set the date without changing the phase of the moon. The directions didn't even mention the moonphase! Skagen just kept saying "It's defective. send it back." and sent me a replacement that had the same issue. I'm sure the watch was designed properly - There HAS to be a way to set it correctly, but the instructions were completely inadequate.

Anyway. The instructions that came with this watch reference a three position crown, which it doesn't have, and tell you to pull the crown to the middle postion, which it doesn't have, to set the date. Actually, there is a small "Pusher" button below the crown (at the 4 o'clock position) that you push to set the date. This button is not mentioned at all in the instructions. To set the Day there is another "Pusher" button at the 8 o'clock position.

I sure wish that someone would tell Skagen that the quality of their watches is NOT matched by the quality of their instructions!

    Solid Office Watch
I've been looking for a light weight, professional and not boring watch to wear to the office. I'm not really a watch guy, so it needed to have:
    1. Low weight
    2. Comfortable Strap (nit-picky comment: since it is leather, it is very malleable and I've put some crease marks in it already)
    3. Easy to read
    4. Been a bit stylish (since I work in the kind of place that matters)

This has all of those things AND to boot is obvious in adjustment (I haven't even looked at the manual). Nice cheap price, too.

    I absolutely recommend this.
