Only for a contortionist with a lot of time on his hands
This product markets itself as a shaver to remove unwanted back hair. I bought it for just that purpose. The extendable handle does not extend very far, forcing the user to contort himself like he is in the yoga class from hell. The groomer does have multiple heads that attach and reattach easily. None of them shave hair very well. Once the user twists himself into position the user must go over and over the same spot until the skin is rubbed raw. The head designed to shave the face doesn't remove hair any better either. All of the heads leave long stubble behind as well. I suppose if you are a beard wearer and want to keep it a certain length and don't wish ot remove back hair, then this product might be useful. However, it does not do the job it was intended to.

    Very Disappointed
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program (What's this?)
Bottom line: This groomer is a low quality product. Its design and power are mismatched for its intended purpose. Go with a normal hair clipper and/or epilator instead.

The clippers are weak and require many passes to cut all of the hair. Plus, they don't really cut very close - so you're left with rough bits of sharp hair, which are uncomfortable as they run against your clothes. You can use the foil attachment to get a closer cut, but this still requires using the clippers to shorten the hair first. The foil cut hair will also become uncomfortable stubble within a day or two.

I thought I might have better luck with just trimming my leg hair using the broad clipper attachment with a guide. While this sort of works, there are major issues with it. First, the shortest setting with the guide is still too long. I had such long leg hair that even my mom had commented on it. Yet, the clipper with the shortest guide setting was only able to cut a little bit off it. It was unbelievable that my hair was still left over 1.5 inches long. To make matters worse, the guide kept falling off the clipper! It just slides on, and there isn't enough friction to keep it in place.

The handle, even when extended, is too short to reach all parts of the back.

This woefully underpowered groomer will surely die before you finish grooming yourself.

I own a normal Wahl hair clipper. It does a better job than this groomer for less money. The Wahl cuts closer without a guide and the guides allow for a wider range of length. The only advantage that this groomer has is the foil cutter - but I would rather go with an epilator which will keep the hair away for a week or more.

    It stopped working
I bought this product about 7 months ago and was happy with the results while using it, although I did think that it needed to hold a charge better. But no biggie. For $30 it was working fine and having the extension for trimming back hair was a nice touch I didn't see in other shavers. I went to use it this week and the motor just completely failed. You can hear it trying to rev up but it's like your car won't quite turn over and start. I was disappointed and will be stepping up to a better brand and shaver. Looks like Norelco for me!

    Poor
This product has several flaws, so I'll get them out of the way to save time. The hand, which is intended to extend enough to reach the back's tough middling areas, does not extend nearly enough. The vertical shaver head included for this purpose does not shave, but merely trims hairs short -- preventing a further trim until the hairs regrow to an an adequate length for another trim. The plastic guard provided for it doesn't work either, so using it on other body parts you DO want trimmed, not shaved, will get you nowhere. The foil shaver was comically inefficient, removing only a few hairs at most. And the clipper-style attachment scraped skin, necessitating use of the back attachment for the entire body, with predictably lamentable results. Finally, the battery would give out within 30 minutes, its buzzing mechanism giving way to a struggling groan and finally not even a whisper. Hopefully Remington's new beard trimmer performs better than its body groomers.

    Stopped working in 2 months
This product worked great when it arrived. Exactly as advertised. However after about 2 months of gentle use, its on/off switch became finicky and when it would run, it was not running properly and not good for trimming hair at all. After a week of this temperamental behavior it gave out completely and refused to start, despite adequate charging.

Would not advise anyone to get this product.

    Waste of Money
This is one of the worst trimmer I ever got, it ran out of charge very quickly. And you have to wait till it charges, mostly it lasts for 5-10minutes i would say. Never waste your money on this.

You press the power button, it stays on for a second and then turns off. Complete waste of money.

    Poor design
I have had a few body and back shavers and this is by far the worst. I have found several design flaws that make this a very poor shaver. 1) it have a long blade attachment for larger surface areas, great idea, bad design. It runs straight out when you use the guard. So this if you can imagine in you mind is like trying to run your lawn mower on its side. While the guard is combing sideways the razor is trying to the hairs straight up, instead of in the same direction as the comb. 2) Unless guys are really really flexible their is no way that they will be able to reach there whole back with this thing. They have for some reason gone away from the same design as other back and body shavers. while it looks good it is not functional and does not let you reach the areas that need it. 3) it does not cut the hair I just spent 40 minutes in a shower trying to it all the hair and it looks like I have done nothing. I would not recommend this to anyone, I will certainly be a more wise shopper after this.

    Pure Junk
Bought this groomer recently and after several uses it no longer works. I've had it less than a month and will be returning it. Would not recommend.
