    not sure what to say
I bought this a month ago and I love the tablet however I let it go a week without charging it even though I had it turned off the battery was drained and ran the battery completely out. I now have left this tablet blugged since wed 3/28/12 at 11 am and it is now the 30th and it is still a yellow light and will not come on. When I call customer service they keep telling me to let it plugged in for another day to fully charge since the light is yellow means not fully charged yet. Duahhhh poeple I know this. However before when it was a yellow light I could still turn on tablet and use it while plugged in and now it will not even come on. They now say I may need a new battery. Hmmm already Not sure weather to scream or just deal with it since you get what you get when you pay the price I did. So I will give it tell like 4pm today and if the light does not change to green and I cannot turn it back on I will call yet again I have never seen a product take this long to charge fully even when the battery has been fully drained. I will try and update this comment again later.

    Very basic
This tablet is quite heavy, that is the first thing you will notice. Next, it has a front-facing camera only. That doesn't work for taking pics because you can't see what you're taking a picture of. The front facing camera should be to skype on, but skype doesn't work on this tablet. I downloaded it, but it doesn't work. After doing some research, I found I wasn't the only one- skype doesn't work on this tablet. If you don't care about skyping, it's probably a decent tablet for the money. Still, I don't think I would recommend it, especially with iPads dropping in price.

    Excellent Affordable Product
The 9 G2 has been great worked with for a week now and couldn't be happier! The IPS 9.7 inch screen is the same as on the ipad 2, great viewing angles and the 4:3 ratio is much better for reading books, web surfing, and gaming. Movies look great there will be black bars because of the ratio but the viewing angle and option to play any format is fantastic. I have tried avi, mp4, and mkv all play without hesitation. This is better than my ipad 2 because of the fact it can accept a usb flash drive and a 32gb micro sd card!!! No more worrying about filling up the hard drive with my movies and high res photos... My 9 G2 did not ship with any bloatware and it came without any app store. I have side loaded facebook, the old skype that works with this and coby tablets, all apk files found through Google within seconds. Just put them on a flash drive and install to tablet. It comes with a file manager that works great! Amazon app store installed and was up and running in a few minutes, the free app a day is great! You don't need an app store if you know what apps you want you can find the apk's but I like to browse the options on amazon app store to see if there is something new I don't know about.

Research done into the sub $200 tablet market finds that most have resistive screens at this size or smaller 5 point capacitive 7 inch screens. I like the larger 9.7 to 10 inch screens as I have a 5 inch samsung smart phone already and seven did not seem much larger... That being said there are some great 7 inch tablets out there for $150 or less as many colleagues around me have purchased and I got to play with. If you are looking for that size the xtex my tablet 7 sold on Amazon for $150 + shipping is great, android 4.0, 1.5 ghz, 1 gb ram!!! I got my 9 G2 for $150 from Amazon keep your eyes open for sellers that have this discounted and new in box!

There has been some reviews online with this tablet that say it doesn't turn on after running the battery completely out... I turn it off and plug it in for a full charge when it says to ~15% left, and have had no problems yet in 7 charges. I am getting about 4.5 to 5 hours on a charge to that point depending what I am doing on the 9 G2.

    IT'S A TRAP!!!!
My uncle bought me this Tablet for christmas in order to surprise me with a cool gadget. Now I am usually excited with anything that is free even if it is this seemingly knock off brand. But that is exactly what I got. A knock off tablet with next to NO redeemable factors.
    1. First off tablet is heavy. The weight wouldn't be a huge problem if the tablet worked but it doesn't. This tablet isn't heavy enough to be an ironic paper weight but too heavy to be a good tablet.
    2. The responsiveness of the touch screen is atrocious. Seriously this could be the worst touch screen I have seen in a while. Sometimes it works perfectly while other times it will simply refuse to register the fact that my fingers are sliding around it and repeatedly poking at it attempting to turn on apps.
    3. On top of that it has a rotating screen. This is usually a pro when it works like when I use my iPhone. However this piece of garbage doesn't know if it is right side up or sideways. Sometimes when I am using it (trying to use it) right side up, the screen will start flipping and freaking out. Then if lets say I lay it flat on it's back so I can read a recipe, it will do the same thing. It is like it is intoxicated and just stumbling around.
    4. This comes with an outdated android. It comes with gingerbread and not ice cream sandwich. Over seas this has ice cream sandwich but on its website there is no update download. It is like a giant middle finger.
    5. Since this useless piece of trash does not have the up to date IceCreamSandwich it comes with the 'applib" which isn't used anymore. Have fun finding up to date apps. It is like the makers just wanted you to use it as a paper weight. I had to download the amazon appstore in order to even download a facebook and pandora app.
    6. Just like most tablets this can't do anything that your smartphone can do better. Even after rooting it and installing a whole new OS on the thing, it still was just an oversized phone that was inconvenient to lug around and couldn't make calls.
    7. The battery life literally last no more than 4 hours 2 if you are multi tasking with music and wifi.
I don't understand the tablet craze right now because they are for the most part worthless. The only thing I could see people using them for is reading, and even then you should't stare at the screen of any tablet for a long time because they are bad for your eyes. This product is useless. Sure it is cheap, but go take your girlfriend out to dinner instead of buying this. Go donate to charity. Go buy a smartphone Go save the 200 bucks. Check your twitter feed or your news feed or your facebook on your smartphone. If you really need to replace your books with an electronic device buy a kindle, those are cheap and they won't burn your eyes out. Just stop buying tablets you all just look silly with them.

    Archos Arnoav 9 G2
I received this product in just a few days and it is an excellent product. I don't have anything to compare it to but it is a very nice product. I read some complaints of its thickness, I find that not to be a problem.

    Arnova Tablet
This is just an okay tablet. It is hard to download apps sometimes. Took me a few hours just to be able to read books on it. The games are fun though.

    Not great.
I'm not tech savy so I didn't know how to import a marketplace or even add gtalk. I also disliked the camera and touch response. The screen didn't respond right away and I often had to try over and over again to get a response.
